OUR APPROACH

  • Educate

Educate families about the effects and consequences of gun violence and how to properly have preventive conversations.

  • Outreach

Provide Outreach programs within the community to support families who are victims of violent crimes.

  • Engage

Engage the community with public forums and events to share stories of the effects of violence.

  • Encourage

Encourage trusting relationships between the community and the police.

OUR SOLUTIONS

  • League of Legacy

The “League of Legacy” Mentoring Program was launched Fall 2017. This program provides mentoring for young men ages 10-18.

  • Support & Resources

You are not alone! Find the latest information on gun violence prevention and support for surviving families.

  • The Village

The Jarrod Michael Lockett Foundation launched “The Village” in 2019, as an opportunity for parents to network, come together, take back our communities, saving one child at a time. We believe that “It takes a village to raise a child” and standing by this concept is what will help us reduce violent crimes in our communities.
